Our commitment

From 25 May 2018, all organisations in the European Union are required to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on personal data.

Fridgeandgo is committed to ensuring compliance with the requirements of this new regulation, which enhances businesses’ security guarantees, reassuring customers and clients alike.

How have we prepared for the new regulation?

  • The Fridgeandgo Group acted early by surveying the situation during fiscal year 2017 to identify areas to bring into compliance in different Group entities.
  • A DPO (Data Protection Officer) was appointed to bring the company into compliance with the GDPR and work transparently with the CNIL (the French national data protection commission).

What are the practical implications of implementing GDPR compliance?

This new regulation has made it possible to implement the following initiatives:

  • Updating our policies, procedures and processes;
  • Bringing all our websites into compliance;
  • Verifying our supplier’ GDPR compliance;
  • Protecting data to ensure its availability, integrity, confidentiality, and processing.

Fridgeandgo is committed to GDPR compliance from 25 May 2018. Becoming compliant is just the first step in a permanent, sustainable change.

You can now exercise your right to access, rectify, erase or object to use of your data pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 by sending an email to dpo@fridgeandgo.fr.
